make animation with HTML

please help, tomorrow is end of project develop. have to submit it.
I make a search engine project for my school. There is a index.php and
search.php
index.php is like a google main page, it has textbox, logo, and menu.
search.php show results of search.
So you write keyword in index's textbox, you will move to search.php and
results are print on screen.
I want to add an animation during page move. if person press enter in index,
animation starts and DIV layers move to the top of the screen during one
second. if this animation finished, move to search.php
how can i make it? i can use HTML, PHP, javascript with web programming. i
dont learn jquery or etc.
